A group of teenagers including Cindy Campbell and Bobby Prinze, accidentally hit a man when driving, and dispose of the body, but now they are being stalked by a very recognizable masked killer. The victim count increases, whilst Cindy must survive the carnage that has she has seen in so many films before.
Have you seen "Scream"? How about "I Know What You Did Last Summer"? If so, then you already know the plot for this movie. Six teens accidentally run over a man while driving down a back road, and fearing a long prison sentence, they dump his body in the ocean. One year later, a man wearing a black cape and white mask starts killing the teens off one by one. Rounding out our group of twenty-to-thirty-year-old teens is leader Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris), her extremely horny boyfriend Bobby (Jon Abrahams), the gay football player Ray (Shawn Wayans), the airheaded Buffy (Shannon Elizabeth), her best friend Brenda (Regina Hall), and the obligatory jock Greg (Lochlyn Munro). Also making their way around that centerpiece of the movie which is the school are stoner Shorty (Marlon Wayans), news-reporter Gail Hailstorm (Cheri Oteri), and retarded police-officer Doofy (Dave Sheridan). The typical slasher questions are raised - who's the killer, why are they killing, and who will survive - but everything is done as a parody of both of the main movies that are being ripped off here, with quite a few other honorable mentions (with The Matrix and The Sixth Sense being just two of many).

An excellent, truly hilarious parody film is what we have here. The various teen slasher films of the late-nineties were chock full of clichés and the whole same-ol'-same-ol' treatment, and it was only a matter of time before a film such as this came out. Thankfully, it turned out to be spot-on in the parody treatment, catching nearly all of said clichés and putting them together in one fast-flowing, joke-a-minute comedy masterpiece. The thing that I enjoyed most about this one was the fact that it never started taking itself seriously, not even as the grand revelations and plot twists are made. Previous teen parodies such as Not Another Teen Movie were guilty of this... starting out with some truly hilarious scenes, and then veering off in an attempt to bring solid storylines and such to the plate, resulting in a lackluster film. That's far from the case here; right up until the credits roll (and even afterwards), director Keenen Ivory Wayans keeps the parody aspect firmly in place. The jokes never slow down, the storyline never gets serious, and the viewer never forgets that he or she is watching a parody. How Wayans could make something as good as this and then go on to make the craptastic White Chicks is beyond me, but never let it be said that the man is talentless. This movie proves that much.
Admittedly, the comedy found here is low-brow and juvenile; farts, male anatomy, and other such topics are the biggest punchlines throughout the running time, so that may very well put some viewers off. If that happens to be a style of movies that you enjoy, on the other hand, you may very well find yourself laughing from start to finish, much as I did. The only thing that would have made me enjoy this more were if just a few more films received the parody treatment, if only for a few moments or maybe a whole scene. The plots from Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer make up the entire plot, and while a few other movies get the nod, the grand majority of the time is spent using material from the two aforementioned films.
Definitely worth a rental for fans of parodies and / or gross-out comedies. I'd even go so far as to say it's worth adding to your DVD collection if the price is right; I purchased the entire series for fifteen bucks, and at that price, it was well worth it. 8/10.

Get's funnier with age. It is probably the best of

It was good, but the more they released the worse
they became. 8/10

This is pretty much the only one of these kind of
parodies that I find funny. "I said a dollar
bitch!" I really wish they all continued to
be this good. Scary Movie 3 made a bit of a
comeback, but for the most part these are pretty
bad. Date Movie or Epic Movie? Beyond awful.
There were a lot of great moments in this movie
though, but my favorite parts were with Cheri
Oteri. "You're on my foot fat shit!" or
"Kenny, hold my gum!". Classic.
