I wanted to have known Roy, really, you know?

He's such a lovely fella, you know?
He has this image of dark, and lonely
But he never seemed that way to me
He seemed like a really very happy person
And just full of life
And really living everyday
And loved the Wilburys
They always laugh the most I think, you know?
He had this beautiful laugh, like huh-huh-huh-huh-huh
Yeah, I just remember in the control room like, you know
'Cause the Wilburys got pretty zany
And he went right along, he was right there
He was right on top of it
He was very contemporary, very current
And he thought of himself that way
And I think that album proves that
Well, it was very odd to not have Roy there
Because we had become a group
And probably still are
