From the darkest depths of the ocean, a long-forgotten amphibious predator emerges, to wreak havoc on the small fishing community of Cedar Bay. As Captain Will McKenna, and the marine biologist, Arden James, try to get to the bottom of the mystery of the depleting fish population, a violent storm threatens to cut off the area from the outside world, just before an epic battle between man and monster begins. But, the aquatic invaders have already tasted the warm human flesh, and they start to take a liking to this new source of protein. One by one, the helpless inhabitants fall prey to the voracious sea beasts. Who can stand in the way of the hungry swarm of primeval troglodytes?
