In high hopes of finding the cure for cancer by using the deadly venom of genetically modified horned vipers, instead, the ambitious scientists at a remote medical research laboratory only managed to increase the reptiles' aggressiveness. As a result, after a botched attempt to break into the seemingly secure facility, a band of thieves unwittingly release the mutated snakes in the nearby island of Eden Cove, and before long, packs of enhanced serpents start attacking the unsuspecting residents of the fishing community. Now, there are more snakes than inhabitants. Can they survive the vipers' deadly bite?
