Covered in makeup to hide all our sags; spilling cocktails in our laps.
Off to a show or to a party; complaining we're fat.
And looking low, while sipping Bacardi; adjusting our hat...
Cause let's face it, does anyone but a drag queen still wear a hat?

Rushing to their classes in performance art, knowing it won't pass.
Another long, exhausting night, the drag scene can be risky.
You lose a heel, get in a fight; thank God for cheap well (?) whiskey.

Running around in our high heels and gowns, thinking we're too much.
