I MADE IT THIS FAR
When I got up out of my bed this morning
I put my feet on the floor
I walked across the room to my dressing table
As I looked down at the floor.
I can still see myself in the mirror
As I felt God's grace and love
I lifted my hands and began to praise Him
I made it this far.
Then I walked over to my window
I looked at the sun shining from the sky
I began to think about where He brought me from
And it brought tears to my eyes.
You see He was right there, but I lost it all
Sometimes, I can still, I can still feel the pain
But He lifted my burden and took away the stain
He gave me strength to start all over again.
That is why you see, I made it this far (made it this far) (3)
I had mountains to move, Hills to climb
Tears to dry from my weeping eyes.
You see, I have had burdens to bear, Heartaches and pain
But you wrapped me up in Your love, every time I called Your name.
I want to say thank you Jesus (thank you, thank you),
