I grew up like most of y'all
This big ol' world seems so small
Never grew to earn a PHD
I bounced around this sleepy town
From the age of three to here and now
Things are not the way they used to be
Seeing things as I recall
I didn't have much but I had it all
Looking back I smile from ear to ear
Grandpa take me fishin'
And to this day I miss him
And in my mind his voice is crystal clear
