Struggling L.A. actor Jake Scully is fired from his vampire B-movie part by fickle director Rubin and homeless after finding his girl friend in bed with another. he eagerly accepts an invitation to house-sit from fellow actor Sam Bouchard, whom he befriend over drinks in a bar, a luxury villa as Sam has got a job offer in Seattle. Its saucy perk is directing a telescope at a foxy woman undressing voluptuously like clockwork, but after Sam has gone, Jake sees her in danger. He starts inquiring, following abusive mobster-kept porn actress Holly and saves her from a dodgy robber or stalker, who still gets away with a card he stole from the purse Jake recovered for her. Jake now risk getting caught between the mobsters and investigating police detective Jim McLean.
