Two families from opposite ends of the social spectrum find their fates intertwined when an SUV runs a cyclist off the road on the night before Christmas Eve. Later, working-class father Dino learns that his daughter is involved with the womanizing son of powerful hedge-fund manager Giovanni Bernaschi, complicating the lives of all involved in ways they never anticipated.
