Adam and Barbara are a normal couple...who happen to be dead. They have given their precious time to decorate their house and make it their own, but unfortunately a family is moving in, and not quietly. Adam and Barbara try to scare them out, but end up becoming the main attraction to the money making family. They call upon Beetlejuice to help, but Beetlejuice has more in mind than just helping.

The storyline is solidly covered up above, so I'll skip right on over that part of the review. The storyline presented here is very nicely done and executed, which was suprising since on paper, it looks like it'd be lame. But good ol' Burton pulls it off marvelously, as always.
Michael Keaton plays Beetlejuice perfectly, really did a splendid job in his role, and Winona is superbly hot in this particular movie. Even though it's rated PG, they pull out some stuff that you wouldn't see in a PG rated movie today, and it's still quite enjoyable, unlike 90% of the other teenie / kiddie rated flicks out there.
Overall, definitely worth the pick-up if you haven't seen it, and worth a second watch if it's been a while. 8/10.

Tim Burton's second best film, to "Ed Wood".
Michael Keaton steals the show, but everyone does
nicely, especially Catherine O'Hara, Jeffrey
Jones, and the underrated Glenn Shadix. Very
creative and hilarious as hell. 8/10.
