In his top floor apartment, a man awakens to the screeching of his alarm clock. As he fumbles for the snooze button, the entire clock suddenly fades away. Naturally, this gets his attention and as he sits up and looks around, he notices that everything in his apartment is also disappearing. Just before his bed goes, dropping him to the floor, he notices the door has also vanished, trapping him inside. His only access to the outside world is his window, forty stories above the noisy street. Screaming for help isn't an option, so he has to do anything he can to get his cries for help out.
