In the near future, cloning is now technically advanced, but human cloning is still illegal. Adam Gibson returns home after working with his friend Hank Morgan, only to find a clone of himself with his family. Before he has chance to find out the truth, he is attacked by a group who want him dead. Adam must escape and find out the truth from the creator of the clones, Michael Drucker. Adam knows for sure he couldn't have been cloned, but isn't ready for what he's about to hear.

Adam Gibson works for a helicopter chartering business, and the movie opens up with him getting a nice contract with a fellow by the name of Michael Drucker. Drucker is a big businessman type of guy, so he needs the best in whatever it is he gets, hence him picking Gibson's chartering business. Soon after signing the contract, Drucker specifically asks for Gibson to be the one that charters his first flight. Since Gibson was planning on checking into a place called RePet in order to get a clone of his daughters dog that had died that day, he asks his partner to go along, as Drucker doesn't know which of these two guys is actually Gibson. After the partner lands the helicopter with Drucker inside, a guy comes up and kills the partner. Since they think that that was Gibson, they get a clone made of Gibson so that nobody will ever know about that incident. Now, the cloned Gibson has taken over the real Gibson's life, and since human cloning is illegal, the guys in charge of the operation want the real Gibson dead so that the feds don't find out about it.
This movie actually did a pretty good job of mixing the typical Schwarzenegger action film with a decent storyline. Sure, it does have all the staples of his films: man against all odds, badass lead character, and a plethora of quippy one-liners throughout. This actually meshes well with the storyline here, which did seem a bit dumbed down for Joe Movie Goer, but nothing that couldn't be overlooked.
With that said, there was one thing that hurt this movie, in my opinion. There was a few subplots that were started or hinted at which never got a conclusion to them. For example, one of Drucker's hired thugs is ran over and killed, and then brought back as a clone; but then, the cloned version starts complaining of chest pains (a result of the death by car). He's given a quick answer about it being all in his memory, but that could have been played off of nicely in some mini subplot along the way. Another (much more minor) thing that bugged me was the predictability. We have a couple of scenes where the seemingly-useless knowledge presented in the beginning of the film ends up being a huge plot change later on in the film as a huge shocker. These things would have worked out nicely, had the director not been so pushy with the information and trying to make damned sure you remembered it later on in the movie. As a result of that, you knew that it would come into play later, and damned if it didn't.
The acting here was decent enough. If you've seen any Schwarzenegger movies, you know what to expect from him. Nothing groundbreaking, though he didn't slouch either... just one of his typical films. The thugs that chase Gibson throughout the film (Sarah Wynter and Rod Rowland) was actually great in their roles, which was a shocker to me; I was expecting some typical clueless goons there, but no sir. The rest of the cast was average throughout... nothing too bad, but nothing really worth mentioning either.
Overall, if you've enjoyed Schwarzenegger's previous action movies, you'd most likely enjoy this one as well. If you're just interested in the cloning aspect, this one really wouldn't be for you; it is the main storyline of the movie, but it's not really played off of as much as one would expect... more along the lines of "you were cloned, this is how it's done, now go get your revenge and kill everyone responsible". 6/10 from myself.

Solid flick to watch now and then. I really have
no complaints about the movie. A 6 sounds about
right, but a strong 6 at that.

A 6 does sound good for this movie. Chad summed
it up very well in the second paragraph.
