Aspiring actress Lucy suffers debilitating migraines, worsened by Sara's pills. Her headaches lead to recurring, nightmarish visions of her own death. Despite family history of schizophrenia, a doctor attributes her struggles to exhaustion. Lucy remains trapped in a never-ending cycle of terrifying visions. She discovers Sara's romantic feelings and her pills' hallucinogenic effects, leading to her hospitalization. In the psychiatric ward, Lucy recognizes she's living her worst nightmare, accompanied only by her spectral self. Finally, she embraces her inner demons and accepts her new reality.
