Reluctantly, mother-of-two Nathalie hands over her children to her good-for-nothing, soon-to-be-ex-husband Tim. But Nathalie is in high hopes that this will be his last weekend with the kids. Instead, she is in for a shock when her dog suddenly disappears and, then, finds a threatening note in her house. Now, as a mutilated and barely alive man shows up on her doorstep, Nathalie knows that she must take matters into her own hands and pick the investigation up where the clueless authorities left off.
