When it comes to taking a vacation, nothing can stop the indefatigable paterfamilias, Clark Griswold. This time, after the monumental Yuletide fiasco in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Clark surprises his family--wife, Ellen, and teenage kids, Audrey and Rusty--with a trip to Las Vegas, after receiving a hefty bonus check. But, instead of strengthening the family ties in the dazzling city of fortune, human nature gets in the way of happiness, and as if that weren't enough, Cousin Eddie enters the picture, further complicating matters. Will the Griswolds survive the Vegas Vacation?
