Surprisingly, three classmates of Peter Parker managed to get their hands on highly volatile nuclear materials: the crucial components in the making of an atomic bomb. As the police suspect Parker for the theft and Spider-Man tries to get to the bottom of it, the inquisitive young reporter, Gale Hoffman, is eager to interview the city's masked defender.
