The movie begins with a group of teenagers in an empty golf course at night. When one of the girls has to go to the bathroom, she makes her boyfriend go with her. Instead of going to the bathroom, they decide to start making out. They are killed by the gigantic lawnmower in no time. Now we're at the Tall Grass Country Club when Norman introduces Roy to everyone and then shows him around the course. They come across the two teenagers from the night before in one of the sand traps, torn apart and bloody. As Roy goes to get a drink, he's greeted by Kelly, who he tries to make nice with but has no luck. When Roy goes to the course to mess around on one of the holes, he's confronted by Mal and his dog Caddy. When Mal trails off, he's attacked by the lawnmower.
Roy's unpacking at his new home and Norman's wife Bea stops by. She ends up seducing him right as Kelly stops by to apologize for being 'unprofessional' to him. The next morning Roy finds Mal on the course all chopped up. Kelly has a lesson to give to a group of people. While she's demonstrating the strokes, there's a kid out in the field catching her balls. He goes too far out in the field and gets killed by the lawnmower. Everyone sees blooding pouring out of the bushes, but not the killer. Everyone panics and Norman puts together an army to find the killer and destroy him.
They find the an ex-employee on the course, Deke. He's got a lawnmower with him, so they say he killed those people and then threw him in jail. When Deke tries to explain that it's a giant lawnmower killing everyone, no one believes him. That is, until the next day when the tournament starts up and the lawnmower makes a public appearance. When everyone sees it going on a rampage, they release Deke and have him stop it. To help him out, Roy and Kelly lend their services. Once they gather up all their equipment, it's time to go out and battle the giant lawnmower for the first and final time.
Roy and Kelly manage to over use phrases, constantly saying "Be careful" and "I'm not so sure" and "Well... things change." It gets annoying quickly. Roy's acting doesn't help much either. His tone of voice is almost identical to a robots. Thankfully, it wasn't set on being a devoted horror film. There was little comments and jokes thrown in through the entire movie. Plus the plot being about a giant lawnmower killing people helped too. The lawnmower wasn't even that big really. Maybe double the size of a regular push lawnmower. It managed to decapitate more than one person at a time though, so it was big enough.
There wasn't many killings shown, mostly cut scenes when before the mower would attack. Although, the couple that were shown were rad. A guy got his legs cut off and he was on the ground moving his little nubs back and forth, bleeding a good amount. Then the blood spray from that little boy during Kelly's lesson was like a big water fall of red. I'm not a fan of golfing, but this managed to somewhat steer away from the sport and still have the story revolve around it. The story line was lame, but it was original and it worked out well for this sort of horror film.
Final Conclusion: 7/10

This was a decent parody of Jaws... on paper. Just swap out the shark for a lawnmower and the ocean for a golf course, and bam! Great parody action. However, the actual film was way too long and much too padded, and I just couldn't get into it that much. 5/10.
