Batman: Dead End

Joker escapes from Arkham once again and Bruce Wayne is shown suiting up in the Batcave. He's scouring over the town on roof tops with the bat signal lighted bright in the sky behind him. He hops down the second he sees the Joker. The two of them begin fighting until an Alien snatches him from a rooftop and eats him. When the Alien attacks Batman, a Predator blows its brains out. Now it's time for the Predator to face Batman. Batman eventually gets the upper hand and right before he's about to put an end to the Predator, three more show up behind him. He whips around and three more Aliens are showed behind him. He's certainly in for the battle of his life.

Dead End is a short independent film based on the earlier and darker stages of Batman. He doesn't have an all black costume with muscles built into it like all the Hollywood films have released so far. Joker was in a straight jacket and his usual comic look. Though he had an insanely evil presence about him. The Aliens were from the actual movie series of Alien. Each one of them was costumed, not computer generated. Which worked out well because they looked perfect. Same goes for the Predators. All designed to perfection. The action was all done perfectly. Each hit connected and it seemed like the victim was really getting hit.

Out of the four mainstream Batman films that have already been released, this was one if by far the best. Running at only eight minutes, it manages to be far more interesting the entire six hour series that Hollywood has released. This is definitely not the only short film created from the Batman story, there's several more out there that I hope to obtain in the near future. For more information on the film and to download its entirety for absolutely nothing, visit Collora Studios official website.

Final Conclusion: 10/10

prolly the best fan flick. well made, respectful toward the comic strip atmosphere and philosophy, just a weird ending.

I found it on torrents. And I loved it.
The scene where Joker is snatched up onto the roof looks amazing. Actually, the whole feel of the film is amazing.

The Joker was amazing. The BEST Joker EVER. Looked like he just popped out of the animated series, only more evil. The best Batman I've ever seen too. Not too much armor. Very Adam West-esque. 10/10. Btw the Predators looked awesome too.

Another thing... I loved the part where he jumped from the roof and landed in a crouch. Then slowly got up with his cape dragging on the floor. One of the best scenes in ANY movie EVER.

Seriously, why was this not any longer? 'Tis a shame since the total production was excellent. It easily could have been twice the awesome short it already is, but oh well.
8.5/10

The Joker was really good. I thought this was a joke at first. Then I watched it. Pretty bad ass.
