The Gay Bed And Breakfast Of Terror

Well, it's the biggest gay party weekend of the year. The Blue Party, to be specific. And five couples (plus a friend of one of the couples) stop at a quaint Gay Bed And Breakfast run by eccentric Helen (Mari Marks) and her equally eccentric daughter Luella (Georgia Jean).

First there's Dom (Vinny Markus) and Alex (Michael Soldier). Dom is a drag queen, while Alex is a gay porn star who wears assless chaps. Deborah (Shannon Lee) and Gabby (Denise Heller) are lipstick lesbians. Mike (Derek Long) and Eric (Robert Borzych) arrive with their loud fag-hag Lizette (Lisa Block-Wieser). Star (Hilary Schwartz) and Brenda (Allie Rivenbark) are bickering girlfriends. And finally there's Rodney (Jim Polivka) and Todd (James Tolins), the sugar daddy and the barely clothed twink.

Not long after everyone arrives at the bed and breakfast, strange things start happening. There are mysterious phone calls, screams, and dead bodies are turning up left and right.

First of all, I'm going to say that The Gay Bed And Breakfast Of Terror is not for everyone. Hell, it's not for most people probably. It takes the concepts already explored in movies like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Wrong Turn and makes it gay and even crazier. This is one whacked out movie with a lot of original ideas to accompany the ideas that aren't so original.

And just because it's called The Gay Bed And Breakfast of Terror, doesn't mean there's nothing here for the heterosexual male to enjoy. There is female nudity and a lot of gore. There's stabbings galore, neck bitings, and plenty of severed body parts for the gore hound.

Of course, there's also male nudity, including some brief full frontal. And thankfully, James Tollins who plays Todd, is seldom seen fully clothed. He's usually just wearing his underwear.

There are plenty of laughs to be had too. The flashback scenes are hilarious, showing Helen in her younger days. Yet she looked fifty back then too, because young Helen was also played by Mari Marks. Also, Helen is a Jesus freak who swears an awful lot. She also has a shrine of George W. Bush. What a whackjob!

Like I said, The Gay Bed And Breakfast of Terror isn't for everyone, but it is for people who are looking for something unique, off the wall, and... gay. 8.5/10
