Horrible movie. Pops rented this, so I decided to check it out, and boy, was that waste of time. Midway through, I almost got up and said fuck this, but morbid curiousity got the better of me.

They kept showing backstory, which was supposed to climax at the end in some grand revelation, but the trailers had already spoiled this months ago. Even so, the story was best summed up in the trailer, it was extremely boring drawn out over an hour and a half.

I usually try not to draw on inconsistencies in movies, but this is a Hollywood flick, so I will. Ok, he turns into Hulky around pops, in the lab. Pops stands up to his chin, so Hulk is around what, 7 foot? Few scenes later, he turns into Hulk around the chick, and he's like 15 feet tall. Same scene, he's in Hulk form, has shorts on, goes back to human, naked.... okie, these shorts magically stretched to fit his big ass, so maybe they fell off when he went back to human.... I can buy that. But later in the movie, the shorts stretch to fit his mammoth ass, and when he goes back to human, they shrink down with him. The fuck?

Pops had a pretty cool gimmick, but he lasted an entire 10 minutes. That should have been the main focus, not him jumping around in the desert for half an hour. We got the point, you can make killer fx, fucking Christ.

2/10, for some decent effects, although way overdone, and a shit story.

I'm goint go agree completely with ya here. This movie tried too hard to implement comic book transitions and dipped too far into the action scene effects. They completely missed the fact that maybe his dad should play a bigger part in the movie than a constant annoyance for him. The gay action scene at the end pissed me off; it lasted--what, 5 minutes? The big climatic action scene we were waiting for the entire movie, and it was shorter than him fucking a couple of 'copters in the desert.

They coulda made the movie way better.

This was the equivelant of head-butting a cow in the asshole... though I feel that may be less painful...
I found not a single redeeming quality and spent the next year or so hoping that Nick Nolte would not die of embarassment after being in this. I'd questioned Lee's talents before, after sitting through that terrible excuse of a martial-arts film \"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon\". The man is more determined to find a \"style\" rather than make the movie enjoyable... this was as true here as it was in the aforementioned as well as his later work \"Brokeback Mountain\". I'm strongly concerned with the sudden admiration he gained with \"BM\", as I'm sure that's only helping to swell his talentless little ego...

I don't think there is a word for how shitty this movie truly was. 1/10
